Academic Awards

These are available to pupils entering the Senior School at 11+, 12+ 13+ and 16+.  All current pupils are considered for awards at 11+, 13+ and 16+ alongside those applying for entry to the School.  There is no need for a separate application.  Academic Awards are based on the results of the entrance tests, and there are no separate papers.  At 16+ Awards are offered on the basis of interviews and are provisional on GCSE results.  All Awards are a percentage of the tuition fee and can be worth up to 50% in value.

All Round Awards

All-round Awards can be offered at 11+, 13+ and 16+ to those who have good overall talent, but who have not reached the standard of Award in any specific area.  No separate application is needed, and all candidates for places are considered.

• Late applicants may be assessed at other times of the year, providing there is a vacancy.
• All Award application forms must be returned to the Admissions Officer by the end of School on the specified date.
• Means-tested Bursary forms for all age groups must be returned to School by January 2012 .
• Art folders must be delivered to Reception at the Senior School by end of School on 20 January 2012.
