By road via the A12 to the Senior School
There are three exits from the A12 signposted Woodbridge. To reach the Senior School, use the “Wyevale roundabout” following the brown English Heritage signs for the windmill. Follow the windmill signs from the roundabout, past the police station on your left and turn sharp right at the T junction. Woodbridge School is the second exit on the left. Follow the road down to the main building, Marryott House. Drive through the School to the bottom entrance. Turn left and drive 100 yards. The entrance to Queen’s House (which is on the edge of the Senior School site) is on the left. |

By road via the A12 to The Abbey
Coming either from the south or the north on the A12, take the first exit marked Woodbridge. Follow the road through (from the south, Ipswich Road and from the north, Woods Lane). Keep following the signs for Woodbridge town centre. When you reach The Riverside Cinema/restaurant and the station, turn sharp left (from the south) or right (from the north) along Quay Street. Pass the Crown Hotel on the right and proceed up Church Street. The entrance to The Abbey is just before the church where the road turns right. |

By road via the A1 from the north,
or A14 from the west
Leave the A1 at Huntingdon and join the A14 east signed to Cambridge. Travel for approximately 70 miles bypassing Cambridge, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich. Remain on the A14 for 7 miles to Junction 58 and exit to join the A12 signed to Lowestoft. Then follow directions from the A12. |

By road via the M25 from the south
Leave the M25 at Junction 28 and join the A12 signed to Brentwood and Chelmsford. Travel for approximately 50 miles bypassing Brentwood, Chelmsford and Colchester to Ipswich and at Junction 33 join the A14 east signed to Felixstowe. Remain on the A14 for 7 miles to Junction 58 and exit to join the A12 signed to Lowestoft. Then follow directions from the A12. |

By road via the M11 from the west
Leave the M11 at Junction 8 and join the A120 signed to Stansted and Braintree. Travel for approximately 30 miles bypassing Braintree towards Colchester and join the A12. Remain on the A12 for 20 miles following signs to Ipswich and at Junction 33 join the A14 east signed to Felixstowe. Remain on the A14 for 7 miles to Junction 58 and exit to join the A12 signed to Lowestoft. Then follow directions from the A12. |
